A NEW YEAR, A NEW BEGINNING........

Hard to believe that it's been over a year since I have blogged. So many changes in that time.  And a lot of reflection and redesign of priorities and places to put my energies.    A move, a new home, new twists on my creative endeavors, and some planning for future.

But still, and always, the two places I will always have energy devoted to are my photography and my pottery. A new pottery studio with lots of light to create with clay and I am one happy girl.  And always, a camera in hand.

I have been wanting to do a personal photo project focused on still life for a very long time, and 2015 seems like the right time.   A visual metaphor for slowing down, breathing, taking in the moment, and silencing the chaos. As I inch my way toward making some professional changes, life has become more chaotic in some ways, and super exciting in other ways, as I am moving toward creating space for more of my creative endeavors.

I've joined Kim Klassen's Be Still 52 photo course and I'm very excited to have a group of women to share this endeavor with.  I look forward to sharing my images here.

And looking forward to another year of creative growth and discovery!
